Ragley Bigwig headset and bolt through rear axel

Hi All
I'm ordering from CRC and Wiggle to deliver to me in Australia. So I really don't want to make a mistake.
I need a compatible headset for the Ragely and although they say a standard 44 will do - I'm worried as to the fact that I'm running a taper fork as is the norm these days.
So can somebody suggest a headset. Not flash just solid. As the recommended Nuke Proof is currently out of stock.
Also I run the hope pro 2 evo rear wheel and the frame came with 12 mm bolt through as standard. Could I just get the hope adopters and pop them in to convert to 12 mm 142 or is there more to consider.
