Hi all!

I have got myself a 2014 Specialized Enduro Expert Evo.
I'm in love with this bike and dont have the urge to buy a new one - this is very pleasing :)

I have 2 questions for you experts:

1. could anyone help me plase and recommend the best tuning for the T22 Ohlins shocks?
My Weight is about 86KG
My Hight is 1.8m
My Technic is avarage - still lots to learn
I ride Enduro and DH/FR - dropouts, small gaps and a little air time still a newbie..
Bike size is M

2. As much a I love my bike I always have the urge to upgrade something just to keep it fresh...
I was thinking of upgrading my bike to 27.5 from 26 by changing my rear triangle and fork.
Now, fork is not a problem but the rear triangle is... I have been in touch with Specialized and they said that they will now release aftermarket parts for the Enduro Expert Evo.

So the question now - does anyone know how and where can I get the rear triangle?

Thanks in advance!

I have to say it's a curious post

You're 'in love' with your bike but, for unspecified reasons, want to spend money on it and change the wheel size

    Why?
  • TBH I'm just checking the possibility, not entirely sure that I'll be ready to do so.

It's quite possible the front triangle changed as well for 27.4 to lower the BB, do you really want to change that as well?

Shock tune, set sag, sent at floodgate setting, fine tune rebound all FOR YOU......and ride!
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
  • Well,

as i said about the triangle in the previous post that I am exploring my options. if its too complicated i have no reason in doing so.

about the shock tuneup - i have played with it a little and got to a sort of satisfying tuning but I do feel that there is a lot of work to be done there.

I know there are professional services to perfectly tuning and customizing your shocks like TF TUNED...
I did contact them but they said they dont service ohlins shocks.

so im looking for someone around my weight and riding experience with this shock to try his tuneup.
Or if someone could recommend on a professional service to do that.

    Thanks!

you are pretty screwed with the ohins shock, AFAIK you have to send it to specialized to get it serviced.

no idea on the shock tuning as I don't know what adjustments it has so you'll just have to ride it and see what you don't like and adjust from there. Didn't take me long to tune my CCDB inline.

The 27.5 uses a modified 29error front triangle with a kinked seat tube for rear wheel clearance
