SRAM RED FRONT MECH CLAMP/BRAZE Adaptor--??
I am having some problems with my SRAM Red front mech, its a clamp on 210 (yellow tour edition) and i looks like the horizontal pin is coming out.
Anyway, I want to swap it out. Has anyone had any success using any of the newer SRAM Red yaw front mechs with 2010 SRAM Red?. Also does anyone know if a braze-on on mech fits the clamp on mech?
Thanks in advance....

according to veloenews, old shifters+crankset with yaw fd works...

if you're asking whether you can fit a braze-on mech to a frame with no braze-on mount, yes, you can use an adaptor, for instance...

As Sungod points out, SRAM is backwards compatible. I have SRAM Red 2010 on one bike with a SRAM 22 FD and shifting is much better. To change to 22 speed, all you need change with SRAM is the shifters. The 10 speed derailleurs will work fine with 11 speed.I ride a bike. Doesn't make me green or a tree hugger. I drive a car too.0
