So I think I've finally found a good route. A 10 mile lap, probably about 3 miles on country roads linking up 7 miles of bridlepaths, lots of hills, and today lots of mud! Nice to find some bridlepaths that are't flat. Had a whole load of fun, bike was making some awful noises coming out of the deep mud, but wore off quickly enough so assuming that's normal?! Bike did great.

The route

Quite a view

A few puddles at the end gave it a bit of a clean

If anyone is local and fancies a blast let me know. FYI, I'm slow!
