Hi guys,

After a recent spate of cycle theft from garages/sheds/houses in my area I'm getting very twitchy as regards the security of my bikes so much so that I've been looking at various different options. Something I really do like the look of is the Asgard range of storage options, expensive yes, but what price do you put on peace of mind.

Has anyone got an Asgard bike store, and if so how do you rate it?

Also what other security measures do you have in place?

Thanks,

Pete.

Wall anchor in garage, gold rated lock and homemade wall stand (2x4 drilled into wall with coach bolts). Saris used to do a nice wall hanger with a solid steel loop to attach your lock. Pretty secure.

Are you on strava or anything similar? have you hidden your home on it? How do thieves know you have a bike hidden away? I'd look at that first. Once they know that then you're in trouble.

Take a look at this site - http://securityforbikes.com/proddetail.php?prod=P13-x.x-SS50CS

I'd strongly advise not advertising the fact you have a decent bike, especially on social media. It's the root of all evil
  • I have got the Trimetals bike shed, I bought one when they launched it, 6 or 7 years ago. It is a good product and has stood the test of time.
