Hi all,
Currently on cycleops resistance rollers but fancy looking at something different to improve my fitness and strength.
I have an old cycleops magneto (i think thats the model) that offered good resistance etc but it was a pain in the ass to change the tyre when i wanted to go out. Ive looked at the elite muin turbo trainer and it sounds pretty good. Does anyone have any experience of it? Do you need to adjust the rear mech when changing from the rear wheel to the turbo? Or do i stick with my magneto and get a turbo wheel?
Thanks
Ross

love my muin smart b+ . quieter than the average turbo for certain. way better than destroying tyres.
resistance ramps up quite quickly as you increase speed. do no adjustments from road to turbo even with differently geared cassette. love having power reading output to my garmin.
its sturdy as hell too. cant fault it yet.
Only use 5 gears. big chainring and largest 5 cogs. 34 front. 28 and down0 -
I have the LeMond Revolution, which is great but very noisy. Not sure what I would buy if I was looking now. Most folks seem to think the wahoo kickr is the one to buy. http://www.dcrainmaker.com/tag/wahoo-kickr0

With the direct drive you still need to take the wheel on and off. And for the price of them you could afford a hack bike to leave on your existing turbo? No hassle then.0
