Hi
Has anyone had any success in getting SRAM Rival shifters working with a MTB SRAM X7 or X9 type 2 rear mech?
Ive heard its possible but wanted to canvas opinion. I heard that the cable pull is the same on SRAM road and Type 2 MTB mechs and also the type 2 mechs have a clutch?
Any advice?

Using that exact combo, 10 speed Rival with an X7 Type 2 MTB mech. Works perfect, not dropped a chain or had one skip all season. Pretty sure all SRAM 10/11 speed stuff use the same pull ratio so mix and matching SRAM road groupsets/MTB parts is ok.0

SRAM Force and X9 Type 2 for me. No issues with this set up.0
