Garmin connect will now not connect with Strava, something about a new fangled Garmin Express which doesn't seem to be working right, or it might just be me...

Anyhoos, had a decent night ride last night and will probably need to tighten a few nuts and bolts after hitting a few bad bits of road.

Had tea, will have some more soon and head down into some work!

    Ciao

    Ciao

Just got blown across the runway whilst walking The Hound so came back inside for coffee before heading for weights session.

I think it may be windy outside.

Apart from that, going to meet a friend for coffee in town and that's it really. Lamb chops for dinner.

    Ciao

    Morning all,
Quite busy here, which is no good at all. I have the traditional Thursday hangover. Several cups of tea have been drunk along with the necessary biscuits. Bunking off early to go to the dentists, hopefully no work will be done as I'm in the Mini and it rattles healthy teeth.

working from home - so eating my way through the kids Christmas chocolates.

No hangover here as I haven't drank since Sunday as I'm saving myself for Stevo's party

no work to do, but still stuck with cold/cough/man flu so can't get on the bike, so that's a pretty dreadful outcome :x

Should be well by Monday when there is work to do :(

I'm working from home today too, had a 40 "mile" commute on the turbo to start the day! think it will be a one way commute though!

Been strangely productive, although trying to explain things to stupid people is taking up a lot of my time, trying to explain different combinations of thing to someone who couldn't get their head round what and/or means was testing my patience. my patience failed the test!

Not a party as such. I think they're fully booked, at least they said they were when I mentioned some accountant from Shropshire wanted to come along :)

Quarter end reporting meh today. I am now torturing numbers until they tell me what I want to hear.

Af'noon shirkers, number crunchers, tooth rattlers and the nasally impaired

Bah. Wind, rain and work. Horrific combination. Got back to find a huge generator for the TV coverage of the big footie game parked in our yard so chucked some sh1t around and even got to speak with the vice chair who offered a couple of hospitality seats in compensation. For a Stranraer game!? A bit like getting free access to an STD infested brothel.

    See ya after.

    Shirkers indeed.

WFH this morning while the plumber emptied my pockets. Turns out I have an old boiler and it's sh!t and I better live with it or pony up for a new one. Plus labour, of course.

Missed the rain then smashed it in setting a door-to-door PR.

Free lunch in spite of what the economists say, and fired off a couple of job applications.

Now off to deal with some entitled. self righteous, rude millionaire who couldn't organise a p!ss up a in a brewery.

Potential new house has a boiler older than Stevo :( the quotes make my bike collection look cheap
  • FFS, just got off the blower to a mate arranging a ride at 19.15hrs and looked out of the window to see rain.

Forcast says dry by 8 so hopefully it's all good and I need to eat some carrots over the next few hours.

A PB in winter? Can't do it. Legs barely turn when it's cold.

How do you know how old my boiler is? She might be offended by that.
