Are there any users of these rims on the forum?
I've got a set of them as they were going for a bargain price and wonder what tyres people are using on these wheel rims.
I've got some specialized ground control on them currently but looking at options as they are worn and need replacing, thinking a high roller up front and advantage/ardent on rear maybe nothing bigger than 2.2/3.
Also any tips for getting off and putting on tyres on these wheels, they are rather hard to get on and off and I broke tyre levers putting the current tyres on.

I generally choose tyres based on what and where I'm riding rather than the type of rim?I don't do smileys.

Indeed, type of bike, where you ride, surface conditions and how you like a bike to feel, not the rim itself!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

Short travel hard tail 120mm, wide range of conditions muddy to gravel to hard pack.
I'm more interested in what tyres people are using on these wheels that are easy to fit n take off and ones that are hard to fit so can avoid them.
why I ask is that I'm using them with tubes in to get the tyre beads to sit in the rim when I try out tubeless, got a puncture last night on ride and couldn't get the tyre off rim resulting in broken tyre levers, lots of swearing and looking like a mad man.
So I'm after any tips you people have when dealing with tight tyre beads and how to get them off.0
