Morning all. Easing myself back into work by playing a lego Star Wars game I downloaded for my son :D Reasonable wobble into work on the bike this morning, avoiding the odd lake in the road. I'm so glad we don't have winters anymore.

Laters.

  • Phew. I thought there was going to be another "day after the day after..." thread and I had already lost count.
Second day at work this year, and it's shaping up to be a very busy future. Bah.

    Need cheese on toast.

Read this out loud as a hint to the magic food fairy, the cat nodded, we wait...

Wet, windy, fast ride in but it's gonna be a slow ride home.

First coffee consumed, now to get on with some work before 11:30 swim.

    Ciao

  • Legs are killing me from the first run in about 6 months or so. Internal organs are thanking me for an alcohol free night. Stomach is groaning because it's usualy had a mince pie by now.

Just plodding through a load of work and waiting for a gas fitter to give me a ring.

Might go on a road/lake road based moutain bike ride tonight in the dark.

    Morning all,
Very tired after a poor sleep. Weird dreams caused by the shock of coming in to work and fretting about the girl I suspect. The EPO spent a good portion of her day yesterday talking to hospital, school and educational welfare types. Hopefully things will start moving in that respect now.
Do we buy rotating electrics through you TLW? I thought we still got them from some remnants of Lucas. There's a name that lost what little value it had. But yes, we get undercut by people selling even cheaper shite than we do. Customers are forcing a race to the bottom in terms of quality because most of them buy on price.
Felt a little more wintry this morning. 6'C as I left the house, a bit colder and misty as I rode through the park. Not quite as chilly as Sungod has it at the moment.
I've got lots of work to do but little interest in doing it. Several cups of tea have been drunk, not had time to make myself a coffee yet. Must fix that now. Onwards, to coffee...

Still slacking, no exercise for me until next week I reckon. The lack of skilled breathing right now is the cause.

Empty office today yet I seem to be being productive. Did come in for 9.30 rather than 8 though.

May go buy more kit/stash for a distraction. Hot ribena and a bagel time

Elbows completely f@cked from pull ups, the only time they're not aching is when they've been warmed up after pull ups, vicious circle.

  • Tuesdays are always the worst - every week! But.. still managed to get up and to 35 mins on the trainer this morning, and getting up at 5.30am for that. So quite pleased all things considered.
  • A slight wobble (not of the cycling variety) earlier as my application for a visa to enter the US was postponed for review.

Logged in a few hours later and it had a nice big tick at the side though so all is well again.

Soon be hometime so I can get a healthy turkey chilli on the go.

Af'noon Yeti's, fundamentalists, cheesy blokes, pullers and dizzy sellers,

Chewsday delivered all it's ills. What a frikkin mess of a day. Yard looks great though and if you want t see the top half of it, tune into the Stranraer vs Celtic SFA Cup game this Sunday. It will be the only thing worth looking at.
    Later: Heffalumps.

    Evenin,

Busy day saving tax so I have a nice warm feeling now :)

Trying to plan summer hols since the winter one went t1ts up some time ago. Hound is not sleeping well - probably adolescence which is causing a few sleep problems chez Stevo. Ho hum.

Not as nippy and wet as the ride home - you know when you stand in the kitchen dripping water, freezing cold and too tired to move to the moka pot? Yup, one of them.

Eeeee ba gum it were chilly......

Not yet, though your account was flagged to me today for sales with a low margin!
