I've been looking at buying my first Carbon bike for the last few months now and after a few test rides I've finally took the plunge on this beauty:

A Focus Cayo 1.0. Just bought it brand new for £1900 which I think is an absolute steal to be honest. Can't wait to pick it up now!

I'll take it out on a dry day (very unlikely!) but yes it won't get much use if any for a few months.

Mine is 3 years old and is also my go-to bike. It has such a great blend of characteristics.

  • Congrats, great spec for the price. Can't beat that colour combination either IMO, looks lovely
  • Cayo was my first bike, still using it as a winter bike 4 years later, great bike.

So when are you going to post a photo of your new bike? Catalogue photos don't do much for me.

Well I have it, but I'd rather get a nice outdoor photo to post on here, which might be a bit difficult at the moment! Plus it doesn't have any pedals on yet.

One day you might stop trolling but I somehow doubt it. Do you have issues you're dealing with? Or is it that you just don't like the world?

The guy's got a new bike, looks great to me and almost identical to the marketing pic in its set-up but, no, you need to make one of your usual snide comments... You're a sad individual

Yes that's why I bought it.

I have long legs and a short body so I need a bike with less reach than the average person of my height would need.

Couldn't agree more, I don't frequent this place that much but when I do there are always the same people trolling away with the usual snide remarks . Nothing changes.

    Pedal Revolution in Norwich.

They have some proper bargain clearance bikes.

For example a 54cm Trek Emonda SLR 9 for £5k which is unbelievable.
  • Fantastic looking bike with a great spec. How have you managed to resist riding it ?!?!?!

Congratulations. It really does look good.

A much better side on picture:

    DSC_0109_zpsge2jvp44.jpg

Went out on it for the first time today, absolutely love it. It is somehow super stiff yet much more compliant than my Btwin. Surprisingly rapid on the flat as well, which is the one area I was least expecting to see much of a gain.

Those are exactly the same qualities why I love my own Cayo. Stiff where it needs to be, but a nice smooth ride.
