I have a Race Face XC Evolve Triple X Type crank and a Hope BB. I'm rebuilding the bike and want to know which sides to put the three 2.5mm spacers on. I think that I can guess that putting them where the chain line is optimised would be a reasonable route but I only want to assemble it once because the spacers will be distorted after tightening up. I don't even begin to know where to start looking for this advice. But thanks if you can help and all the best for 2016!

2 on the drive side, one on the non drive side, if you have a bottom bracket mounted device (chain guide or e-type mech) then it replaces one drive side spacer.
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
