What rear mech

Current set up, 8 speed cassette (11-28t) and Tiagra 8 speed shifters, Tiagra 9 speed compatible triple chainset and mechs. The rear mech has virtually seized and as it cannot be stripped down, I want a Shimano replacement that would work with the above set up. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks.
