As I need a road bike with hydraulic brakes, due to where I usually ride, I'm thinking of selling my much loved Moda Stretto. I'm considering either a Trek Domane 4.3 disk or a Giant Defy Advanced Pro 3. Any advice greatly appreciated.

  • Any suggestions?

You need to try them out - both will be very good. Its a case of which fits you best and which one you personally like the best.

Personally I would go with the Domane and keep the Moda for winter / wet duties if it fits and suits your kind of riding. The Domane is a very comfortable bike to ride for long distance riding, will probably be my next road bike.
Too many bikes according to Mrs O.
  • I have a Domane 5.9 and it`s almost eerily smooth on the road. Comfiest bike I have ever ridden and fast with it.
Trek,,,, too cool for school ,, apparently
