The harness is fine if you want to include your hands/hoods in the shot but, personally, I don't want anything attached to me that might cause me a problem if I have an "off". I certainly wouldn't attach anything to my helmet. That's just my view of course. Worth experimenting to see what works for you.

Yea just looked at one of the combo's which would work really well with my Garmin 8) the buggers are expensive though

I know, took me long enough to justify it myself but I recommend it - eBay has them for approx £42 I didn't find it any cheaper
Just had a look & High on bikes have them & i have a 10% voucher so it will cost £35.95 so that saves me a little bit

Perhaps worth giving them a call and seeing when/if they will have them in again.
Here's mine....

The same price as they are advertising now... £19.99.
Nicely made, adjustable and very secure. Very pleased with mine. If fact I want one for one of my other bikes and was going to order another one so I'm interested to know when they will get them in again.

I've got this one and for the money, it's brilliant. make sure it's attached properly and play around with the camera angle - remembering to change the setting as the camera is inverted and you'll get great results.
Well worth waiting for it to come back into stock.
Personally I find most cycling videos (including my own) very boring.
If i had known this last night i would of bought it off you, But i have purchased a K-Edge Combo Mount.

TBH it will only be used now & Again, but will be nice to see some decent scenery

Stills are so much better for that.
I use my GoPro for my car racing which is (often) more dynamic and I use to to critique my driving/lines etc.
I would suggest getting the standard k edge handlebar mount & using a separate mount for the garmin /gps.
The combo mount is prone to provide shaky footage (drove me mad).

Hopefully you won't experience this problem but if you do go back to a single mount for each.
Oh & I have found the best position to mount the camera is under the bars (nicely out the way) although you have to accept road spray means muck on the lens /housing which does show up in the video (although this is inevitable wherever you mount it from my experience)
Here's one of my vids for an example of the shots, this is on a shonkily surfaced back lane in Mid Wales and its still OK pictures, sorry the sound/wind is awful tho so best to mute it.

Sell it on eBay and buy something cheaper for cycling like the 40 quid Xiaomi Yi then you won't be concerned about breaking it.

Possible tip - video hill/interval sessions and put them on a USB stick - watch them on the TV /monitor and do the same length intervals in bad weather on the turbo.
Or just check out Go Pro race footage if you want something to turbo too - thats good for getting involved.
