Hello everyone,
Just signed up here after years of reading articles, looking for some advice hopefully.
I had my GT Aggressor XC1 stolen from me and I'm getting a replacement now through insurance. They have offered me a GT Avalanche Expert 2016 which I would normally have just accepted but I have recently been looking at bikes with 29 inch wheels and air springs which this bike has neither of. I really like the idea of the handlebar lockout switch for the suspension which I know some bikes do now too.
I fancied the Specialised Rockhopper Expert which is £100 more than the GT as it has 29 inch wheels and air springs and I think it has the remote suspension lockout too. If they can source that for me and I just pay the extra would it be worth the upgrade or is there a better option out there? I mainly do forest tracks and nothing seriously downhill so 29ers definitely seems the way to go now.
Any opinions or help would be really appreciated!

Are you forced to buy through evans cycles? Of those two the GT is better, however i would also consider this for £800: http://www.evanscycles.com/products/pinnacle/iroko-1-2016-mountain-bike-ec122238#featuresFramebuilder
