Boardman SLS Disc

Hi,
I am interested in buying a Boardman SLS Disc as an upgrade to my existing Boardman Comp which I love.
However, I am struggling to find any reviews of the SLS Disc version. The SLS gets great reviews, but I am not sure about the Disc version. In particular the Boardman own wheels.
Has anyone got any experience / owns one of these bikes?
Alternatively, does anyone know of any reviews?
Thanks

Wow - is the SLS disc really that rare?
Has no one on the forum got one or had an experience?

just had a look and a quick compare with the 2016 Giant defy advanced pro with shimano 105 and the boardman is about £400 cheaper with similar spec.

Based upon the spec, there's a couple of comments I'd make based upon experience:
1. Thru axles aren't what they are cracked up to be - give me QR every time. I have a road bike with each. Be aware that carriers and work stands etc might not be compatible with TA either.
2. 160mm rear disc is too big for a dedicated road bike. You'll find you lock the rear too easily. Again, I have a bike with 140 and one with 160 rear and I'd choose 140 for the rear of a dedicated road bike every time.
Neither of these are deal-breakers in my book but would be enough for me to tip the balance between two similar bikes.ROAD < Scott Foil HMX Di2, Volagi Liscio Di2, Jamis Renegade Elite Di2, Cube Reaction Race > ROUGH0 -
the Edge in Lancaster had one very cheap the other day (before they flooded... )Facts are meaningless, you can use facts to prove anything that's remotely true! - Homer0
