1x 10 setup with superstar chain ring

Not sure if im just been picky or overly sensitive.
nukeproof mega tr with sram s1000 cranks.
I've installed the 32t ss ring. Couldn't remove any bb spacers as there isnt any.
To aid chainline ive fitted a 3.75mm spacer on inside crank arms inbetween chain ring. Now sits perfectly straight on 5th cog.
1st gear chain line still looks and sounds a bit ropey but 5th is perfect.
I am just been overly sensitive to the slight rubbing noise ?
