It's only a bit of sport, Mun. Relax and enjoy the racing.

Very enjoyable, though I'm a bit too young to know all of the riders.
I've got some time to kill so I'll dream up my own with the same rules.0 -
Was Martin Early that good?“New York has the haircuts, London has the trousers, but Belfast has the reason!0

Well one of the rules was that you have to have ridden with them.... I think for BR purposes we can let that one slide, except for a couple of posters.Warning No formatter is installed for the format0 -

Well, (ahem) after I've slightly rewording one of the criteria to "have ridden in same race as", rather than "with", my team isn't looking too shabby!
Bradley Wiggins
Steve Cummings
Sean Yates
Marcus Backstedt
David Akam
Kristian House
Chris Lillywhite
Jeremy Hunt
Jon Tiernan Locke (although, if he's still indisposed, I suppose I'll have to ride).
That top 5 is a TTT I'd have loved to have witnessed (from team car).0 -
Enjoyed that.
Earley was a solid rider, not quite good enough to win a lot, but took his chance when he got it. If memory serves he won stages in both the Tour and the Giro.0 -
Vanderaerden...simply outstanding, great choice.0
-
My "Have ridden in the same race/TT/Sportive as" team
Bradley Wiggins
Magnus Backstedt
Roger Hammond
Jan Janssen
Kevin Van Impe
Mark Lovatt
John Tanner
Steve Burke
Matt Brammier
I reckon there's a pretty awesome one day squad in there."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

Jan Janssen?????
Outstanding.
Marmotte in, I think, 2007. And yeah, he got got."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

He's a top top top bloke.
If I had to pick my favourite Tour winner who I am too young to have seen; definitely him.0 -

We were in the same hotel as him as well, some Dutch run place half way up the valley. He was telling a story at dinner one night about him going out for a ride and drafting some kid on a scooter who kept inching the speed up to try and drop him. When they eventually got to some traffic lights the kid turns round and says "Wow! You could have been a decent rider!" Janssen replies "ask your dad""In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

Hi guys, I've shown this to the Cyclingnews editor and he wants to know who else you'd like to hear 'Dream Teams' from? Hopefully going to become a regular feature!BikeRadar Communities Manager0

Contador once he's retired!!!
Or Wegelius.0 -
Get Jens Voigt to do it...0
-
-
I suspect recent retirees will be too diplomatic and not want to rule out anyone they've ridden with for fear of upsetting them for not making the team.
Longer retired riders such as Boardman, Kelly, Roche and Hinault would be interesting especially the latter as he wouldn't care who he left out or upset.0 -
David Millar if he's limited to only 2 Garmin riders.
You also might want to give him a word limit, you know how he likes to go on...0 -
Cheers RickChasey!

How can you have a party team with Pippo in it?0 -
I'm interested with Contscor because there's a whole world of Spanish and Italian speaking domestiques who I feel I barely know and Contador has a bunch who he seems to rate.0

who I've ridden with not in a race
Greg Lemond
Stephen Roche
Sean Kelly

Rob Hayles
Junior Norwegian squad which I think contained Boaasen Hagen
Cavendish -
Malcolm Elliot
Mark Lovatt ( and training rides)
probably get something with that!0 -
In a few years time it would be interesting to ask Boonen for his ultimate classics squad. Unfortunately if you asked him at the moment it would just be a QuickStep roll call0

It would be whatever. He's been there since 2003.0 -

good point, I'd drifted into a dream team scenario but as you say the original question was "who you've ridden with". I'm curious as to who he might have wanted to ride with but didn't get chance to0 -
