Following his move to Movistar, how do people reckon he will fare next year? I love watching him when he can be arsed and I'd love to see him get back towards showing what his obvious talent is capable of. Thing is, he's probably riding for peanuts at Movistar and is riding in a team where there are better,or more senior, riders around him in most races so it appears he may have to settle into a domestique role, which in my opinion may be the best thing for him getiing back to where I think he is capable of.
Anyways here is some shakey camera footage and shouty foreign commentary to illustrate my probably over simplistic point

Think I may of heard on the speed metal cycling podcast that it wasn't a great deal. There's more than a fair chance I'm wrong though0 -

Nah, I think that's right. He's gone there at a cheap price. Got to prove himself after the past season's shenanigans0 -

He's got a new role at Movistar.
A profiterole.
I hope he does well, from what I've read he is 'super' motivated.0 -

not surprised really - surprised they have given him a two year - there will be more clauses in it than Hamley's grotto
He's got a lot to prove - but he actually went Ok in last years Giro but used a non climbers strategy - taking time in breaks on moderate stages - he wasn't looking comfortable on the big climbs but in terms of where he had been it was definite progress
If he starts fit there is no doubt he is a valueable assiette (de fromage)

He's my favourite fat Colombian, we should run with a "Fat Colombian Watch" thread in 2016 to update on and discuss his progress.0

Next year is his Valverde takeover apprenticeship, supporting him throughout the season. 2017 is when he will crush the Ardennes conpetition and podium 2 GTs.
That's my dream anyway....0 -
