Cateye Velo Wireless Plus Malfunction

I bought a Cateye Velo Wireless Plus and to my frustration the computer did not get any transmition from the sensor. I understand that at the computer screen should have a transmitting symbol showing that it is getting movement from my tyre. I changed the batts and realign the two sets. Still the computer is not showing any movement. 
Please any advice or tips that i should look for...

Pass the wheel magnet over the sensor and listen very carefully, you should hear a click noise as the magent passes the sensor.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

OMG i surely have to try to hear...
SO if there is no clicking sound... does it means that its faulty???0 -
Check the distance between the magnet and sensor I have a cateye wireless velo and never had a problem get it as close as possible.0

If that fails get a garmin!
Get a Garmin and a new bike to put it on!0
