New channel on Sky 464. Bike TV.
Not sure if it's a good thing....there's a doco about Rebellin on at the moment...
I'm sure it will turn out to be great. At the very least it should help to pass the time on the turbo.
Happy days!0 -
You've just made my Christmas! Thank you!
Maybe slightly hyperbolical but...0 -
saw the ad in procyling.. .good times... do you need the sport package to get it?0

Please let it be available on Virgin, I can't take any more of the wedding dress programs that my wife is addicted toIt's only a bit of sport, Mun. Relax and enjoy the racing.0 -

Yeah, as if she's gonna let you deprive her of her wedding dress programs to watch cycling. :roll:0 -

May I ask why your 'wife' is watching wedding dress programmes? The horse has bolted.0 -

This is what I keep saying to her, but she's obsessed.
I do sometimes wonder if she just wanted a wedding rather than to get married to meIt's only a bit of sport, Mun. Relax and enjoy the racing.0 -

It's a Sky thing; a copy of their Sky Italia channel.
Not hard to guess, what with Paolo Savoldelli chatting his way up the Gavia etc.
Looks as if the shows are on a weekly cycle :P given how often they repeat."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -
The courier film was ace.0
-
Can think of worse ways to spend an hour and half than watching Salvodelli chinwagging his way up the Gavia0
-
Ive just watched the De Rosa profile. Interesting, but Ugo claiming it was the bike for Gewiss wins ha ha. Nice old fella.0
-
I've recorded a few bits off here. Hopefully it will be good, the programs on Italian frame builders look interesting.0

Not caught this yet but will have a look over the weekend.
Quick question purely out of interest if Sky (or other, BT Sport?) waded into cycling coverage and set up a cycling channel, like the F1 channel - it covered all the major races live and a lot of the minor stuff too - had a few magazine type shows and some documentaries in the off season - would people be prepared to pay a subscription for it?0 -

Yep. As long as they hired Kirby too.

Yep, I'm more than happy with Eurosport but I'd be happy to pay for a specific channel, especially if it showed the start of races too, and wasn't interrupted for some second rate tennis match that nobody has turned up to watch live, let alone tuned in on the tele.0 -

Eurosport gives great coverage and is a £1 a month. I would rather pay that! So what if I don't get to see the Tour down under and other early season races!0 -
To be clear, it's not part of the sports package.
I think it's part of the 'entertainment' package which costs of all £1 a month on top of your existing sky costs (which is what you need to get if you want Eurosport anyway).
At least, that was what it was 5 years ago when I first got Sky.0 -
I don't have Sky Sports package and I can still see it.
Loving Paolo Savoldelli going up mountains, brilliant show.0
