Ciao
Bi-cycle clothes on, nice and dry outside, ready for a quick spin into work - bambino declared off school.
Work punted off, now wandering around the house in Lycra while bambino coughs his guts up on the couch.
May get a quick weights session in but bang goes pre-Christmas cycling resurgence......

Yes, there is a Monday thread. This is it.
Cycling clothes on having wobbled to work. The deer in the park were all on the move this morning. I had to stop and wait for a large herd to cross in front of me. They really do smell bad, I tried to tell them politely to think about their personal hygiene but they called me a hypocrite and told me to sit on an antler and spin.
There are a couple of people off today so it might get a bit busy in the office, can't say I'm in the mood for it. Nobody has made me tea yet either.0 -
Kids destroying your hopes and dreams eh mate.
Christ I am tired today, on the plus side there is a tree in my garden to go up today/tomorrow. School run is done. May go buy mother her Christmas present at lunch.
CX bike to the shop, weights and wattbike later

Good morning fettlers.
Todays drive in to work was fairly dull, all the puddles have gone so I cant do water splashes and the bus full of children crossing the road held me up for about 5 seconds.
On course for a fairly organised christmas, pressies (barr MrsHD's) are bought and wrapped, turkey and pigs in blankets on order from the local butcher, beers are in the garage and Prosecco is in the rack.
Today will revolve around AutoCAD and a telephone.
Tonight will be ironing/cleaning/eating/sleeping.Advocate of disc brakes.0 -

Winding down at work before Christmas, catching up on the weekends boxing and mixed martial arts. Should really do some exercise but the amazing amount of snot I'm producing is slowing me down.
Does anyone want to buy a book and some energy gels? Flan?Pinno, מלך אידיוט וחרא מכונאי0 -
Yeah, winding down here too, i wasn't aware I could get anymore wound down but I seem to excel at it!
Quite pleasant cycle in this morning, not looking good for the journey home though!www.conjunctivitis.com - a site for sore eyes0 -

Btw everyone else clock that CB has now posted a pic of his sister?
Where? Link or it doesn't exist.
As an aside, it's now been pouring down for 4 hours. Glad I didn't cycle in after all ..........Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

Af'noon Noork watchers and Dr Doolittle*
Just about scraped through today. OH is off to work coughing and spluttering (in a catering environment!?) in a mo. Must get organised and feed the toots.
Laters.
'Doolittle' ? Perfect.
Probably not as perfect of CB's sister's Noorks. Sigh.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
Evening,
New minion started today so have been busy with inductions etc. About to pedal home and beat Pinno's weekly mileage again. It's work Christmas party tomorrow night and I have an invite to another free drinking session so I'm staying up in town. Party on dude."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -
I also peddled, bad idea - not fun on the way home, not helped by freshly cut hedges, thankfully I managed the last 7 miles before it went flat0
-
Your beer didn't go flat in the last 7 miles? Must have been a relief.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0

I have looked at that pic for a long time and there is no evidence that there are any women there at all. Mainly a bunch of overweight mammils.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

What - the one with the freakishly large (patient's) left leg and normal sized right leg?
Hopefully not the one in the middle that looks like sloth from The Goonies wearing a colander on her barnet?Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am
