A standard BB30 crankset cannot be used in a standard BSA threaded BB.
Some 30 mm axles can be used, but they are longer then a standard BB30 axle.

thanks for the reply, I've been looking all over for answers and i find it damn confusing as it seems that they make a BB30 and a BB30 wide and the latter will fit and it looks like a sram red gpx crank should fit this frame as well so all is not lost i think or have i read it wrong

SRAM GXP fits in any traditional threaded BB, BSA or Italian.
So will most variations of the other 24 mm axles, Shimano, Campagnolo,FSA and others.
The bearings will have to be placed either IN (BB30) or OUTside the BB (24 mm axles)
Be happy with your BSA as it's likely to give far less problems then the flood of press-in stuff.....
