Irrsspective of his Rapha gear thee BBC obviously don"t pay him enough to travel anything more than economy class to front their coverage of events - he was stuck on a delayed flight to the World Triathlon event in Chicago.
Maybe the licence needs to go up more.0 -

Is there any point to this thread? I find Edwards bloody annoying as a presenter and he seems to embody what the BBC is often all about...Nepotism. Quite why they insist on using him to present cycling shows when there are a whole raft of other personalities or even ex-cyclists out there is a mystery, apart just the fact that he is an ex-sportsman who rides a bike (and I suspect there are quite a few of those out there).
So, boiling this thread down, a bloke who rides a bike says "He may well buy one of these". FFS.0
