Is there enough clearance for 25mm tyres?

Hi

I've just fitted 25mm gp 4 seasons tyres and am wondering if the below clearance is ok? Or whether I'm liable to run into problems with small stones getting caught etc?

Grateful for views (hard to measure with a tape under brake caliper. 4mm? more?)

I would say that is fine as long as you only pick up stones of less than 4mm

Seriously though, give a go and see how you get on.

That looks like shed loads of space - you'll be fine as long as things don't get any tighter near the chainstays?

That's twice as much clearance as I have, it'll be fine.

  • I got a lot less clearance than yours and i've had no problems at all.

The Triban 3 has notoriously tight clearance, but i've got raceblade longs and currently have a marathon 25 on the back. Can't have a marathon on the front, it won't fit.
