Advertising tips please....

Hi
I run cycling trips and just back from researching food, routes and accom in Morocco. I want to appeal to ALL levels but esp' beginners (who want off road but not too challenging) and medium level riders who want some single and double track action but not right up there with the best. Both of these type I will lead myself.
For the skilled riders there will be one week per year (to start with) and this will be led by Houssain, a local and highly reputable rider.
My question is....which is the best magazine to advertise in? We are getting 'crowdfunding' to the tune of £12k to begin an ad campaign and really want to make the money work as hard as poss.
We also do a Spanish training camp for roadies, Mont Ventoux trips & rides from our home in C France. Also Indian coastal and tea plantation rides as from 2017.
If you know of a mag' that would suit an 'all rounder' type audience, please let us know.
Thanks
Pascal

I work in the ad business and for response led advertising you need to leave the mags alone and stick online. Spend money on SEO, Google ad words, programmatic and re-targeting.0

Maybe getting hold of cycle club email addresses and doing a mass email with discount offered?Trainer Road Blog: https://hitthesweetspot.home.blog/

I don't work in the add business but spend a substantial ammount each month on advertising and here's my twopenneth.
1. If you want something where do you look? I'll answer that for you, google.
2. Noah took out the last known page advert on earth, something to do with a cruise I think.
3. Someone will always pay more for an ad-word click than you, it's the nature of the beast.
4. Hundreds of people do SEO, not everyone knows how to do it well.
5. Blogs and regular updates of your site will help it up the page rankings.
6. Google plus pages are free and come up on page one regularly even if you don't spend much time on them. Spend a bit of time getting them right and you've got a high presence for very little effort.
7. A lot of people consider blanket emailing spam, it works quite well for us.Advocate of disc brakes.0 -
Blanket emailing IS spam, I would not buy anything from a spam. If I want it, I'll look for someone else selling the same thing.0

My definition of SPAM is a little different. If I was the person opening messages to the club email address and found something that was cycling related I may find it interesting, it's more than likely relevant to some of the members. If I find something in my club email inbox that's unrelated to cycling I would consider that SPAM.Trainer Road Blog: https://hitthesweetspot.home.blog/

Well good for you and I'm quite the hypocrite as I despise cold callers (don't do that myself) and generally use the shift and down arrow keys, swiftly followed by the delete button.
However our emails are via a whitle list server so vetted and approved as the recipients have requested the kind of information we send out.Advocate of disc brakes.0 -
Beware of focus groups of one
Monitor response (through to conversion very carefully) and optimise accordingly... this follows from not putting all of your eggs in one basket.
you have two empty ad slots on your home page - why not sell them through Google Adsense and see how much money you can make https://www.google.co.uk/ads/0
