Chainring bolts

Hi all

Are the cheap eBay single chainring bolts any good - I have a set that I brought ages ago and want to use them on my Specialized Camber and wondered if they will hold up to being on a MTB.

I'm happy to buy better ones if needed but if the eBay hobbies are ok I'll just use them - has anyone heard of them failing???

Any recommendations for some decent ones or am I worrying about it too much???

Thanks

Jay

If your existing bolts come off easily and the slots on the inside are not compromised, then reuse them.
Personally I would always go for steel bolts as they are more durable, the extra weight being plus nowt and minus bugger all.

Can't use the originals as I'm changing from triple to double
