This is my Goldblum-esque take on wireless shifters, they were so busy thinking about whether they could they never asked whether they shoukd"In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

To hack something though you have to have a steady connection to that device. With the speeds riders move at the only people who could possibly hack would be those in the supporting cars and I am sure the UCI would have addressed that possibility, as would Sram.0 -

hmmm...I do see the point of wireless shifting. SRAM are by far and away the best groupset manufacturer for innovation. Their trouble has always been making stuff that is truly reliable (and their carbon skills are crap! :P ).
BUT! They do force shimano (and to seome extent Campag) to keep up and design new stuffWe're in danger of confusing passion with incompetence

Its a bit of a #fail, agreed0 -
Must say I do like that Katusha kit.
It's what my old man would refer to as a 'cracker!'0 -
If the Tinkoff kit didn't have that weird nappy bit I'd be fine with it.0

Pretty cool redesign from Katusha
I like that kit but my first reaction was 'Is that a L - C?' as in 'Low Cortisol'
Then i thought no, its a key, the key to success...
Then i thought no! it's a wine glass on its side...
Then i realised its a sort of funky "K".
But i like it. Different.0 -

Ouch.
Who makes their attire?
Dunno. They've gone super minimalist on their sponsorship - basically Canyon and Areti (Makarov's holdco). I wonder if Canyon might be doing the kit themselves? It used to be OW (one way sports) but their logo isn't on the new kit...0 -

Interesting... http://www.katusha-sports.com is a place holder.
And the CEO is ex-Amer Sports(Salomon, Wilson, Atomic, Arc’teryx, Mavic, Suunto etc).
Apparently is going to be:Overseeing the global operations and starting up from scratch an innovative project consisting in UCI professional cycling Team Katusha, Premium Performance, Urban Cycling, Commuters and Outsiders clothing and equipment.
Because we know it’s not matter of achievement, but how you get there.
Because we know it’s harsh,
but you just can’t resist it.
We will get you on your bike.
We will make each ride count.
We will remind you why you live to ride.
At KATUSHA we do not build riders. We empower riders.
For you to get the most along your journey.
For you to face the field, the elements, the others and yourself with belief, comfort and style.
We make no compromise. Neither should you.
The Russian Cycling Project is truly dead...0 -
