Bike Stolen - Insurance Replacement Advice

I had a Specialized Secteur 2014 with some Campagnolo Zonda Wheels and it was stolen from the bike shed at work =(
So my insurance have said they will likely be able to give some vouchers for Evans cycles. I will try and get the equivalent to purchase elsewhere.
I was looking at something like the following:
http://www.rosebikes.com/bike/rose-pro-sl-2000-bike-now-821326/aid:821365
And maybe to repurchase the wheels. But if I end up getting sent to Evans cycles does anyone recommend any bikes?
Ideally after 105 level groupset, and priced around £1000

Well - Evans do sell specialized bikes - so if you can put 200 towards the 1k then get the roubaix sport ...
or if you're happy with slightly more agressive geometry then go for the Allez - Tarmac is the carbon equivalent, but owning both I can say quite happily that there isn't a huge amount of difference between them.0 -
There is no reason it needs to be a Specialized, I would actually prefer to try a different brand which is better VFM. £1200 is a bit expensive when I can get better for < £8000

No problem at all with using Evans - huge range of bikes and no better/no worse service than anywhere else.
As they, I believe, do cycle 2 work scheme they may be able to order anything you want in: worth a telephone call.
Save spending until Jan sales for bargains or look at new bikes that are a couple of years old and get an utter bargain.
Alternatively, how about a Super Six Evo 105 for £800 - currently showing on their site then negotiate a discount in store.
Loads in there to look at.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

vouchers? what does the policy actually say? i had an insurance company try to force me into using a specific reseller, there was a short blunt conversation followed by them giving me the moneymy bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0 -

Evans do a very comprehensive price match http://www.evanscycles.com/help/price-match
I would not rely on their expert help but if you go to the Kingston branch you can do a test ride around RP0 -
That Pinnacle bike actually looks pretty tasty with the disk brakes, I always thought they were reserved for higher level bikes.
Cheers for the feedback guys much appreciated!0 -
I ultimately got a payout for this, and I could do with a bike sooner rather than later.
I am hovering over the button to purchase this:
http://www.rosebikes.com/bike/rose-pro-sl-2000-61cm-mod2015-showroombike-860250/aid:860252
But I hear rose bikes run small, and compared to my old 61cm it seems smaller in the most important dimensions.0
