At the moment I have a pair of Vittoria open corsa sc tyre fitted to my bike.
I've been told that they are more of a "summer tyre" is this true?
Are these tyres any good for the wet roads/winter conditions or should I change them.

They will grip fine, but they're not that robust in terms of cut and puncture resistance, which is what you want through winter. They also wear quickly.
  • I ride 25mm all year round. Fine in terms of grip etc. but as mentioned they are very soft, so cut up very easily.

I went back to GP4000s for a bit and changed them back as I missed the corsa! Like Like Like them.

Pricey for "winter" rubber but I love them when it's not winter/ice/hedge cutting/snow time
And the people bowed and prayed, to the neon god they made.
  • All year round for me, 1 puncture this year on clinchers & tubulars
I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles
