Damaged spoke nipple?
Hi,
I've just bought a secondhand bike with Mavic wheels and aero blade spokes. The back one needed truing a bit so armed with my spoke key and aero holder I got to it. The nipple and spokes were very stiff and on my first attempt I slightly damaged the nipple. Please see the photo attached.
Is this a problem, or will it hold okay? If the thread of the spoke is longer than the damaged section, I think it'll be alright. I've never had a spoke break on me at speed before. How bad would it be for this to fail? Should I get this seen to immediately, or am I okay to ride it?
Many thanks!

Lube it with some oil and let it sit a couple of days and then replace.
Oil all the others at the thread/nipple and the rim/nipple interface to try and stop it happening again, but you may be too late if the previous owner has not maintained it and likes wet weather rides.0
