So, it looks like i need to get one of these again, last G 500 i had was crzp and i returned it - 4 years ag0, have used a cateye ever since but this would be for my daughter and her coaching.
have they improved? is the hub based speed sensor messed up by magnetic field on a turbo? and how does it interact with TP ?

It finds my assortment of ANT+ devices no problem.. it rides outside at night with backlight on and still plenty of battery... it can route...it can display phone text arrivals/missed calls.. it can handle turbo indoor training.. it can update my Vectors as and when they need it. It looks like an ordinary speedo .. not like a mobile phone on my handlebars.
