Milky with occasionally one sugar. I was recently given a box of Barry's Irish tea bags, better than PG, Tetleys or Yorshire.

Got my first parents evening later and sitting next to the ex should be interesting.

I prefer it reasonably strong with not too much milk. However, made for me by someone else often trumps that.
Got my traditional Thursday morning hangover after a good night in the boozer. Much bollox was spouted, mainly by the bubble. not really feeling this work malarkey today. Mind is definitely elsewhere.
Slightly too weak tea has just been delivered, bourbons will be the accompaniment this morning.
Enjoy the parents evening Seano, try not to argue in front of the teacher or you'll get detention.

    Morning All

Not really a tea person at all - black moka pot coffee and that's about it really, no sugar as I'm sweet enough as it is. Very, very occasionally I'll have a cup of builders' tea but generally that's only when someone has made a large brew and its going.

Thursday morning was going spiffing until N2 child threw a mong walking to school and turned the whole episode into a drama. Too late now to do any punishment kind of affair but he's getting to the age where he's pushing boundaries and unfortunately turning from a really cool kid into a potential pain in the rectum. Time to get this squared away methinks and return to the oath of cool kid.

Apart from that, day off so nip[ping up to bicycle shop where hopefully Dirk will be ready to have new seat post or, alternatively, getting drunk out of sorrow and returning packages to Merlin et al.....

  • Strong, no sugar. Preferably Coop 99 loose leaf made in a tea pot. Failing that Clipper or Twinnings English breakfast. Can't abide milky tea. I tend to judge a person on their ability to make a cup of tea as you have requested it be made. There are a lot of other fussy buggers in my office so the tea making standard is very high.

Out on site the standard of tea making is very poor.

Your right its an important question. Anyway I think its my round so ta ta for now.
  • Mid strength, plenty of milk, no sugar.

Mild fuzz this morning as the kids decided to have dinner at ours again meaning I had to drop the very small person off at nursery. I'm sure they think it's a weekly thing... I'll be putting a stop to that soon enough.

Got to get stuff together for a full ISO audit on Tuesday, oh the joy.

With ISO audits you have to remember they want your registration and inspection fee more than you want the accreditiation - then its a doddle.

Any time soon would be good :D

Medium to strong Assam, not too much milk, no sugar, obviously, in a mug, the mug must be orange in colour, not green, at a push if orange mug is not available then a white mug will just about cut it, as long as the mug is not porcelain, trite platitudes on the side of the mug are a no-no (unless it's 'project Binky'), and don't get me started on the correct temperature, colour of tea...

Christ you lot are shirking today.

first conference call done, back to sleep for me.

Personally I prefer coffee (real not instant) be it a Moka pot or from X location, but tea has to be strong. I don't care enough for it to matter which brand, though PG/Tet has now been replaced with Yorkshire at home due to the date. Used to take loads of sugar as a kid, now none.

Back to gin and protein shakes now (not mixed).

CRC have annoyed me this morning, but their un asked for discount voucher has at least showed decent customer service.

Still can't open up my crud forks, but at least they are now moving if a bit sticky.

Pistorius a murderer now, not shocked but does raise a question about the entire process. I suspect a few more court cases about the matter.

Final note, I may go join Rapha Cycle Club, then post in road general asking who else is a member, just for the fun of it

  • Freshly brewed, black coffee (absolutely not instant) exclusively in my Fulham FC mug.

Tea in the arvo, if it's offered. Strong, no sugar.

Used to run a coffee shop so a bit sensitive about instant coffee/coffee shop chains/spiced pumpkin cinnamon latte mochaccinos.

Coffee for me - plain latte made at home using my stove top and a whisk.

If tea, English breakfast, no sugar.

Loosely. Started part-time at a start up independent cycle cafe near home, business escalated quickly and was made full-time cafe and store manager. Made friends with some movers and shakers in cycling industry over the two years I was there and here I am. Liberal arts degree from a 2nd tier university is working wonders...

In all honesty, no regrets at all. Enjoyed it mostly and had some great opportunities. Had a few internships etc in the city and really didn't fancy it, so working in an industry which is my main hobby. Advice for other grads would be to stay patient but work bloody hard and doors will open. I'll forever have respect for those that work in hospitality as it's incredibly hard/stressful and awful hours.

I enjoyed running bars in my younger years, just doesn't pay well enough for life, and a hard business to make a living profit in should you own it.

I never used to drink coffee as I thought I didn't like it. Then I realised I don't like bad coffee, long coffee flavoured drinks and other associated muck. Now the only coffee I drink is espresso, and never in Starbucks. I have an Aeropress at work and can make a reasonable shot of coffee with that.
  • I have one of these for making espresso at home.

I've never been to Thailand so I wouldn't know. I prefer to fly west on vacation, not east. Too much aggro going on that way...

    Twinings Everyday, dash of milk.

Some of you chaps like a slice of pig in a bap, so why not try this to wash it down with - Twinings Smoky Lapsang - smells like bacon. You may find you can then abstain from the pig and stick to the tea. Btw, I have not tried it myself, but Mrs Goo thinks its ok, which is quite weird from a vegetarian.
