My 'darling' daughter pressed some buttons on the laptop whilst I had my mail box open.
She has somehow managed to split the screen - inbox list at the top and the mail you open on below. It's a pain in the aris. What do I do to get it back to how it was?
Cheers.

Yay, I done it.
Switch 'Preview pane' option off in advanced settings. I've still got some hair.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
It would have been easier to ask her to change it back. She will be your IT support for the rest of your days.0

Still stuck in the 90s?
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.

You could have "asked Jeeves" how to do it.

I would have to change all the organisational literature, the decals on the bring banks, the letter heads, the flyers and all the other paraphernalia associated with my organisation if I wanted to use any other email account. If you fancy some voluntary work?seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

I was going for out of date rather than any form of snobbery. The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.

The best thing about that link is the snow falling.
Don't worry Bally - PBlakeney looks at the world quite differently from the rest of us. I am going to coin the phrase 'Blakeneyism'. Eventually, it will be impregnated into the fabric of English idiom alongside terms like Shakespearian and Dickensian.
Knowing him well enough (as one could on an internet forum), I am sure he will be delighted with that.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

I think I know what you are talking about and I am pretty sure you are not referring to 'peace', 'love', 'harmony' and copious quantities of LSD but the vocabulary of the contemporary egocentric, hedonistic me which seems to be pervading this culture like ground ivy.
When I get around to defining it and submitting it to that bunch in Oxford, I will avoid certain words.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
Nothing wrong with an occasional bit of hedonism mind. The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.

I could do with some IT support.
I'm fine with excel and Access. It's mail merging and linking say a SS to an invoice. Every version of office has to be re-learnt a little. It's a PITA.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
