Girona accomodation.

Hi,
Im off for a week on the bike to Girona next September and im looking for a base. Ideally it would be outside the city, either bed and breakfast or self catering.
Looking for a twin room as a mate is tagging along, basic is fine as its just somewhere to rest and refuel.
Would be grateful for any input.

I was in Girona last year, used www.airbnb.com to get a great little apartment just south of the city centre.
www.ownersdirect.co.uk and www.homeaway.co.uk also have some good options.0 -

On the main road into the city, though road noise no issue as apt is at back of the block. About 15 minutes walk to the old town. Supermarket 200 yards away. From memory. I think it's 3rd floor but there's a lift. Nice apartment and reasonably priced.
Main bus terminal is 1/2 mile or so down the road. We got a bus straight from the airport. Could of got off the bus almost opposite the apt on way in if we'd been more switched on to what we were looking for .0
