Marmotte 2016 - inc Galibier?

They've just opened the alternative route to the south of the Lac du Chambon, so I assume the Galibier will be back in the 2016 Marmotte.

    Yes the Marmotte website states that we will tackle the Galibier again. Hopefully the new road will be closed to other traffic on the day.

    i was just plotting the route to our hotel (on the wrong side) for the event and notice that google maps is diverting all routes via the A43, i hope most traffic is flowing those directions I also hope the RS1091 is open on the day otherwise we have a very long detour
