No bleed nipple?

Have just bought a bike fitted with Shimano BR-RS785 brakes although these are what is fitted to the 2016 model if the specs are to be believed. And if they are to be believed then my bike should have the BR-RS685.

Anyway, there is no bleed nipple. Where the bleed nipple should be there is an allen/hex bolt. Any ideas?

There should be a separate bleed boss on the caliper underneath the bleed screw you are referring to, you attach the bleed tube to the boss then open the bleed screw to bleed the system after you have set up the funnel reservoir at the lever end. The procedure is covered in this document (page 24) DM-BR0008-04-ENG.pdf from this page link http://si.shimano.com/#categories/133 under the heading BR-RS785

Ah yes, I see it now. Covered with a little black bung that made it impossible to see when I was looking at in the dark with the light from my phone screen.

I've just had the same problem with these, but missed the location of the rubber bung. Epic Bleed Solutions were very helpful in resolving, here's a couple of pictures that clarify what's written above.

Don't Google it for images while at work.
    That's my advice.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.
