I've just bought these and was wondering if it's possible to id them for me - they are meant to be Ambrosio hubs - the front hub is 28 hile and has D E stamped on the flange, the rear is 32 hole and had G J stamped on the flange and O J E on the freehub. Thanks in advance.

Look like Ambrosio Zenith to me, based on the shape.

Don't confuse these with Ambrosio Spa the Italian rim-maker - these are imported by RSI and are re-branded Novatec hubs - RSI own the "Ambrosio" brand in the UK. Decent hubs and easy to service.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
  • Thanks for the info - they will be the base of my first, or second, wheel build - I'm going to transfer my questions to the wheel build thread and see if I'm on the right lines with rim choice.
