That could end up VERY expensive if you using new parts and not at all cheap even with second hand parts
I would do some SUMS and see if you wouldnt be better off, selling it and buying a decent spec bike second hand
But as a suggestion, my Vulcan was transformed by fitting second hand forks and wheels for about 80 quid all in0 -

It's going to be a lot cheaper to just buy a better bike.
Wheels will be £200, another £200 for forks, £150 to sort gears, £80 for brakes and you're up over £600 already. Those prices are if you keep it sensible as well.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -
It would help to know what fork was fitted!
Upgrading most things clearly makes no sense, better off selling this one and buying a better bike.
Upgrading a few choice parts that you could swap to your next (Better) bike would make more sense.
What does the bike do or doesn't do that you want to change?Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
