  • Lovely build, dura ace through the years always looks superb.
    Needs mudguards probably though ;)
I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles
  • Very Nice!

I would also go for mudguards on the commute unfortunately- unless you are very lucky with weather/ road conditions!

Almost too nice just to go to work on. I do like Enigma, I visited their workshop unannounced over the summer and got at tour of the factory, coffee and the low down on all their bikes, very friendly bunch. I'm tempted by an Excel, maybe in January.

After a few rides I find it very comfortable, also i have 25mm tyres on so that makes a difference also.

Changed the decals, a lot cheaper than sending back to enigma for a lick of paint.
If I get bored I can change again.

What I really want is a brushed one with blue anodised decals but Enigma don't do that finish, only beaded with blue anodised. Think I will go for brushed with standard black. Where did you get the blue/black ones from Mark? Ps, thanks for the Westbrook Cycles tip I will be ordering from them soon.

Westbrook are willing to do a deal if I purchase outright. Not on finance though.

I like the new look but can't help wondering if it might look even better if you just had the Enigma logo on the down tube. Not sure the TT or ST decals are helping the overall look. All subjective of course. Saw my mate's Echo today in the flesh. Lovely. I had a quick ride round the block on it. Really smooth and responsive. need to get on and get mine bought.

Can you fit full length mudguards to the frame ? Looking at getting a custom frame that can also be used throughout winter but cant find any info regarding mudguards.

  • If you order a custom frame you could spec it for mudguard space and mounts, surely?
