Mornin'.
Off out.
Not sure if it's right going out without a bike, always feels like I forgot something, I will still nonchalantly wave a hand to passing cyclists though

Hopefully the title is not Crudcatcher related
Tis a bit grey and damp here so will just wrap up and get on with it. I can see the hound getting very mucky again when we take him for his walk in the woods. Anyhow, peace reigns for now, coffee is being supped and papers read. Later may involve some exercise and nervous footy following."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -
Did loads of that today, around the harbour foreshore. Lovely.
Got home and racked up the regulation few miles on the turbo as punishment for enjoying a day out.Open One+ BMC TE29 Seven 622SL On One Scandal Cervelo RS0 -
No exercise thanks to birthday boy, log burner going whilst he plays with his new iPod - think after 11 years we have finally lost him to the electronic world
Later is the pub as he wants to go there for his dinner0 -

Grim out there today. Not even managed much of a walk. Went to pick up a new bike for the girl earlier, traffic was dreadful so took the long way back via Richmond Park. Not many people out in the wind, yet the car park was full. All in the tea shop I expect. Bike is stashed in a mates garage for a couple of weeks until her birthday. Other than that not done much, checked the Mini for water leaks and it seems to be holding, the heater is working which is definitely a good thing. Pumped up the tyres on the hack bike. I'll use that tomorrow as I have to go to the Marsden in Sutton for a scan. It takes a couple of hours and I don't want to leave my good bike locked up outside. Got the rest of the day off as I'll be glowing for a while afterwards. Must remember not to have breakfast before I leave. Might go to the pub in a bit to fortify myself.
Happy birthday to the lad TLW.0 -
November has been pretty terrible for weather hasn't it.
Did a bit of turboing this morning, might go out for a walk to spare the cabin fever later seeing as all the cool kids seem to be doing it
I am generating a surprising about of snot and phlegm today, no other symptoms other than my voice deciding to cut out every now and then, hmmmm, hopefully it'll come to nothing!www.conjunctivitis.com - a site for sore eyes0 -

Gadolinium is neither luminescent nor radioactive.
It is used as an MRI contrast agent because it is paramagnetic, hence it is attracted to a magnetic field, much more than water is, hence it enhances the signal... There is no side effect, as the Gd complex is too stabile to be broken down in your body and effectively you will pass it over time.

November has been pretty terrible for weather hasn't it.
I don't think that is the case at all. It's been an extraordinary mild autumn, I only switched my heating on last weekend for the first time since March and that was for a couple of noticeably colder days. It's not been on again today. What makes you feel it's been particularly terrible?0 -

I don't care about the cold, you can always put more clothes on. as long as it isn't icy the cold doesn't bother me at all.
It has been pretty much constant wind and rain, i can't remember the last day it didn't rain and 25 mph wind is the minimum these days. We have had 3 named storms in the past 2 weeks.www.conjunctivitis.com - a site for sore eyes0 -

We live in the same place. I cycled to work over the past two weeks and got mildly moist only once.
That said, this weekend has been really dreadfulleft the forum March 20230 -

So what's the point of being a moderator?
Has the fear of retailers-retaliation and celebrity-indignation finally taken over?
PS: I was wondering why nobody dealt with reports for days, when not weeks...left the forum March 20230 -
