Hi everyone, is there a way to figure out the manufacturing year of a specific bike???
The bike in question is a trek 1.2 if that helps

Thanks,
Neil

the website is broken as they seem to be trying to turn it into an advertising site for bike stores, but if you start here...

    http://www.bikepedia.com/quickbike/

...then choose a year, then trek, then your model, you can look for which one matches the components etc.

if you've got a browser plug in that blocks ads you'll be able to use it to eliminate the annoying header that gets overlaid on each page of the database

Do a google search for the model of the bike and look at pictures of it to find matches. Then go to the matching websites to confirm.

I've been on the trek webpage in the bike archives but the stickers and paint don't match the year.
I've emailed treks service department with the serial number so I'll see what they say.

    Cheers
