Rock shox SID RCT3 v XX World cup

Looking at forks (SID 100mm travel), as far as I can see it:
RCT3 is 200g heavier than the XX WC edition, has no bar mounted lock out, but it allow low speed compression adjustment and has three positions (open mid and locked out).
The XX damper only allows you to switch between fully locked and fully open but does this via a remote, there's no compression adjustment. Its also (currently) £70 more expensive.
Is this correct? Am I missing anything else different between the two forks? Seems like a toss-up between all-round performance or race day benefits. Have a feeling the cost difference will win the argument!
I vaguely remember reading the push-loc remote is temperamental?

Pushloc remote (cable) is very temperamental, biggest issue is the return spring isn't that 'strong' so it often sticks locked, a little continuous TLC is needed, the later hydraulic remote seems to hold up well though.
A good summary of the dampers here
