Duff McKagan,Guns and Roses bass player, watched an interview a few months back, with him saying that he got into Mountain biking after he kicked his drug and alcohol addictions,he also went on to get a degree in economics 'i think it was', after finding a load of paper work and contracts that he not understand,he then went on to discover how much the band had been ripped off by

Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins from the Foo Fighters are both mountain bikers, brother in law met them at Squamish.
Motor gp racer Scott Redding rides downhill, pretty quick as well. I crashed hard while trying to keep up in practice at a FoD winter race a couple years ago.
Piers off of Dragons den also rides downhill. Not very quick and wears a LOT of armour and some nasty looking 80's style motocross jerseys.
