Would a size 55 Bianchi Nirone 7 frame fit me? I'm 6ft 2inch with an inside leg measurement of 32 1/2.

More likely you'd want a 57cm.0

Based on the sizing guide I can see on the page there, I'd expect you to want the 59cm, or the 57cm - the smaller size if you want a more aggressive position with a bigger drop and a longer stem.0

No 57 or 59 left in the colour I want. The question I'm asking is would this be unsuitable for me to ride or would I be able to adjust the seat post and stem to accommodate this?0

You would need a rather long seatpost and stem. It would be less than ideal, and not something I'd personally spend money on.0 -

Cheers, thats what I thought.0 -
Definitely too small. If you look at stack and reach, which is the only meaningful way to compare sizes from different manufacturers, Bianchi come up small for their stated size. My 61 Infinito is equivalent to a 58 Scott or Cannondale. Agree with above - you'd be needing a 57 Bianchi at least, probably a 59.0

Well, it might be okay. I was with a friend getting measured up for a new bike a year or so back. She was a good fit on different sizes on different brands.0

Which is why it's so important to know what dimensions and geometry you want. 55cm is a short top tube for a rider of 6'2, even for a very compact race geometry, and unless the rider has a short torso, I'd expect it to be too short.0 -

Yep, and he has a longer torso as he's 32 1/2 leg.0 -

What I was thinking - I'm the opposite and shorter - 6'0 with 32" inside leg, and I think 55cm with a 130-140mm stem would work for me, on a racing geometry.0 -

A work colleague of mine who is 6"3 rides a 54, with a normal stem - he has a comparibly longer torso to inside leg length - the bike appears to fit him perfectly, so it is possible though not recommended that a 54 can be made to fit someone who is 6"2. Inside leg measurement is a measurement that is notoriously quoted incorrectly -usually underestimated.0 -
No. Stop messing about and get one that fits. Get to a shop that has enough stock of something so that they don't have an axe to grind and try few out.0

I ride a 55cm Impulso which has similar geometry to the Via Nirone (I tried both in the shop and could fit anything from a 53 to a 57 but felt most comfortable on the 55). I'm 5' 10" so I would say at least a 57cm would be better for you.Bianchi ImpulsoBMC Teammachine SLR02 01Trek Domane AL3“When I see an adult on a bicycle, I do not despair for the future of the human race. “ ~H.G.
