Hi All,

What tyre pressures do I use when going tubeless?

Do I use the same as tubed? More? Less?

I usually use the dorkypantsr.us calculator...

Thanks,

I use less. Typically, around 10%.

Depends on the tyre, too. Some will have a recommended pressure, and all should have minimum pressures. The Hutchinson Intensive 25c I use on two of my bikes recommend 100psi. I generally run them at that, dropping to 90 if it's wet & slippery outside; I'm between 79 and 81kg depending on pie consumption. I think Paolo (Ugo Santalucia) ran his at around 80psi with no problems but he's lighter than me.

Lower. My weight is 71kg and I run Schwalbe Pro One 23mm at 80psi at the front and 90 at the rear. Hutchinson Sector 28mm 70psi front, 80psi rear. I run WTB CrossWolf on my cyclocrosser at less than 30psi (front) and 35psi (rear).
  • i'm about 77kg . i ran my conti 25c 4000s at 80psi front and 90 r. i run my 28c schalbe one at 60 f and 70 r.
