Keisse and Morkopv take a sneaky lap and max points to shut down the Gent 6. That's his 5th title, looks like he'll be the next Sercu!
Yes they did seem to have a long changeover as they stopped themselves from taking a lap at about 48 mins.
Their plan worked out nicely in the end.
    Final Result
    1. Iljo Keisse/Michael Mørkøv (Den) 457
    2. Kenny De Ketele/Gijs Van Hoecke 449 +1
    3. Jasper De Buyst/Otto Vergaerde 442 +1
    4. Alex Rasmussen/Marc Hester (Den) 212 +2
    5. Moreno De Pauw/Morgan Kneisky (Fra) 371 +14
    6. Nick Stöpler/Jesper Mørkøv (Ned/Den) 156 +16
    7. Yoeri Havik/Melvin van Zijl (Ned) 138 +20
    8. Marcel Kalz/Christian Grasmann (Dui) 122 +20
    9. Stijn Steels/Andreas Müller (Dui) 76 +45
    10. Lindsay De Vylder/David Muntaner (Spa) 79 +49
    11. Roy Pieters/Christopher Lawless (Ned/GBr) 83 +52
    12. Tristan Marguet/Benjamin Thomas (Zwi/Fra) 62 +62

Really please dfor him another one for the wall in the De Karper bar! I have to say I've been indifferent to on board cameras in road racing but it was brilliant being right in the mix on the track. also the sense of speed when Keisse put the hammer down he really shifted.

Some talk of him teaming up with Wiggins, that would be a pretty awesome pairing!

First time I've watched 6 day racing. That final Madison was superb and tactically brilliant by Kiesse and Morkov. If it runs at the same time every year it is over my birthday so I might start planning a trip for next year.

Do it!! Though be aware that the cycling is at best an after thought ;)

Loved it! Anyone considering going; do it.

It's such a tight venue and the track is so tight and steep - makes for great racing and a great atmosphere! An added bonus was revisiting the RvV museum in Oudenaarde and this time, Freddy Maertens was working. :D

Blimey, I knocked some ale back.
