Sunny and cold here today which would make a lovely day for a pedal. Like thats going to happen...Advocate of disc brakes.0

Still very mild here, not exactly sunny though.
Relativley uneventful wobble in to work has been had. I am now drinking the cup of tea that has been made for me whilst eating a couple of biscuits. I'd better start trawling through the emails left after being out on Friday. Deep joy. Discussions about the Classic Car Show have mainly centred around how fat a former colleague is now and the girl on the stand with a load of hot rods that had her aris' hanging out.
Onwards and upwards...0 -
Saw a pheasant this morning which is quite unusual for Wimbledon. Cloudy and mild at the moment. Lots of work to do if I can be arsed, roll on the weekend.Pinno, מלך אידיוט וחרא מכונאי0

A dose man flu persists, so pedalling has been postponed till tomorrow. Apart from that it's rather dull on all fronts here in The Big Smoke. In fact, nearly as dull as Pinno's attempt to do a 'BR thread of the year'"I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -

Horriby, painfully windy AGAIN today. I don't mind a bit of wind now and again, but it's already hilly enough where I ride so it doesnt need to be any harder and frankly it's just not fun any more, especially up on the exposed moorland. Apparently it's been the windiest year on record (or for a good many years), and I can attest to that!0

I feel your pain! I fed up of being fed up with the wind! and we have 50 mph gusts forecast for tomorrow! lovely!
As above, wet, cold and windy here! Busy day too, pfft, is it 5 o'clock yet?www.conjunctivitis.com - a site for sore eyes0 -
Gusty winds are the thing I hate most weather wise, drivers don't leave any more room that they would otherwise. The weather forecast for tomorrow is showing 12-13mph average winds in the morning, then in the afternoon it changes to gust speeds of up to 54mph. Think I might drive in tomorrow and bunk off early.
I too am sick of the wind, definitely has felt windy most of this year.0 -
I had gusty wind yesterday, the aftermath of proper mushy peas for lunch.

Still sore ? Blakey will be back later, i'll referee.
Wind is a constant here on the West Coast. It is one of the primary reasons I want to move plus the fact that the novelty of the inbred's have worn off.
Quietish day for me. Out at 7am and back at 2.15, job done.

Where you moving to Pinno? In case anyone here needs to sell up before house prices plummet
Somewhere in the borders. I was hoping to warn them before hand so that I could get a house cheaper. Thinking about it, perhaps I should put the word out that I am moving to Kensington and see what happens.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

How about a nice bungalow near the Pennines???
Bungalow? Eeeek. Can I fit a man cave with a snooker table, room for n+1 bikes, TV, workshop and tool cabinet in it?seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
What about that farmhouse between Manc and Leeds on the M62 ;0
I sense an ulterior motive: Popping in all the time for a bacon sarnie and a cup of tea?
Much as I love the M62 :roll:seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
very wet and windy ride in & out, puncture, both gas canisters were used thanks to a dodgy valve Thankfully I left a spare at work0
