Strava Live Segments on Garmin 1000

Hi all - I need some help with this POS. I've marked Strava segments and they've uploaded onto my 1000. They also show up on the map (I'm using a course). What I can't get is the thing to flag up when a segment is approaching or tell me how I'm doing against my PR or KoM. It used to do this for Garmin Segments but it's not working for Strava. I have premium on Strava. I have the segments enabled. What I don't see (compared with what I see on DC Rainmakers site) is Live tracking enabled I just have a segment enabled selection on the segment screen. I've hunted everywhere for Live Segment enabling.

Help!

Live segments dont work whilst following a course. I think its silly too...

I had to un favorite and then re favorite segments to get it to work, have to say so far I have no interest in it. the rest of the 520 i like but the live segment, i like seeing speed etc, rather than just a count down how much faster/slower etc.

That's crazy! Especially as Garmin segments used to work following courses. But thank you for letting me know
